How to Join Us

BASIC MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTSstorm-and-sunset

We, the men and women of Papilion House IRC, Inc. want to welcome you to our fellowship.

Please understand that Papilion House IRC is a program for transformation. Just as the butterfly makes complete transformation in it’s life cycle, so do we as people in recovery. The Papilion House IRC Program is not a substitute for treatment, detox, medical or psychotherapy treatment. We do not provide any counseling or in-patient service of any kind. In short, we are not a treatment facility.

Membership in the Program requires that the applicant have a genuine desire to transform their life from one of alcohol or chemical dependency into one of self sufficiency. We are a community of people who embrace the principles of the 12-Step tradition.

We offer residents a safe, clean and sober home in which you will be given the opportunity to grow in your recovery. Our newest facility, JWalker House is for men, and Papilion House serves our community of women. Your acceptance into this program membership and condition of residency will be determined by a Member Forum review and vote. If you meet the basic requirements you will be interviewed by the Members and the final step in the process requires an 80% affirmative vote to be accepted.
